Graphic Design has always been of interest to me.  What started out as a simple fascination slowly bloomed into a hobby and a career.  Now I am majoring in Graphic Design and have taken on many different projects from a variety of medias.  Below are real projects that have been completed for real clients or assignments.  Please click on a project to learn more about it.  Enjoy! -Stephen Olmstead CD PACKAGE / DISC DESIGN      This project sprung out of an assignment that was given to me in a computer graphics class.  The original objective was to create a fictious CD cover for an exisiting or fake band.  After logging some time into the project however, I decided to make it a portfolio piece and designed an entire CD setup (booklet insert, tray inserts, disc image, etc.).  The following PDF file contains the entire project in its 'ready for press' state.  Thanks to Tooth and Nail records for use of their entity/logo within the design of this project. DOWNLOAD CD Design (PDF)   CORPORATE BROCHURE DESIGN      This design project was done for Mesa Community College's music department.  The first of these brochures has been mass-produced and is currently distributed at most concerts, events, and gatherings that are put on by the music department.  The second brochure was designed for a summer jazz camp and contains registration information.  I will most likely be doing some more brochure work for MCC in the near future. DOWNLOAD MCC General Info Brochure (PDF) DOWNLOAD MCC Summer JazzBrochure (PDF) INDEPENDENT FILM PROMOTION      I spent a good amount of time working with director David Giarrizzo doing promotional work for his independent film, 'Rat Trap II'.  This design work consisted of designing movie posters, a promotional website, photographic collages, and more.  Promotional handouts were designed for printing and were handed out at the movie premiere.
